Counseling Services

Our K–12 Counseling Services program supports students’ academic success, social-emotional development, and overall well-being at every stage of their educational journey at AST. From building strong foundations in the early grades to academic planning and college applications, our counselors provide guidance tailored to AST students. The department includes a school diagnostician who works collaboratively with students, teachers and parents to support special needs.

In addition to individual and group counseling, the department coordinates informational talks and workshops for students and parents on topics such as academic planning, social-emotional development, wellness, and the college admissions process. Our team also organizes college fairs and visits from university representatives, helping students and families explore options and make informed decisions about the future.

Working in partnership with families, teachers, and administrators, our counselors foster a safe and confidential environment where students can develop self-awareness, resilience, and confidence as they prepare for college, careers, and life beyond the classroom.
