Social Service Projects
As we conclude a semester full of many social service activities, we take this opportunity to thank all students and their families for their support, generosity, and spirit of giving. Our students have demonstrated their gratitude through good deeds directed toward the neediest of our local community. Examples of the projects supported by the AST Middle School include;

Christmas Field Trips
On Thursday December 18, the three middle school grades will be traveling to a local day grade care center and the Hospital Escuela to spread some holiday cheer. The 6 class will visit “La Fraternidad” day care center, the 7 and 8 graders will visit patients in the cancer ward “Centro de cancer” of the Hospital Escuela and the Center for Newborn Babies.
Early Dismissal Friday December 19th
Students will be dismissed at 11:15 on Friday, Dec. 19. In addition there will be a free colors day on the 19
Band Performances
Congratulations to our band students and MS/HS music teachers Mauro Valladares, Marco Ferrera, and Walter Arita for all their hard work in preparing for the AST Christmas Concert. It was an event enjoyed by all.
Early Start Time
Please remember that upon return Christmas vacation the start time for school is 7:30am. School will be dismissed at 2:30. On behalf of the AST Middle school we wish all the school community a Safe and Merry Christmas, and a Happy New year!!!
