A reminder to parents, check and sign the Assignment Book each night. This communication system is very important for gr. 2-5. Click on one of your child’s special grades if you want to see the teacher’s e mail or visit the Google site. All teachers post the weekly newsletter and announcements on their sites early Monday mornings.   The Math Buddy activities held three weeks in a row were a big success. Thank you Miss Nancy Amador for planning and organizing these. Thank you to all the elementary school assistants who joined-in the activities for their specific grade level. Friday, January 13th Gr. 1st and 4th   Friday, January 20st Gr. K and 3rd Friday, January 27th Gr. 2nd and 5th   The older students helped the younger ones do computation, graphing and sequencing. All of these activities were held on the covered court from 8:00-9:50 am.  Teachers have decided that during summer they would like students to read one book in English and one book in Spanish. We will order and purchase Summer Reading books directly from Scholastic. In order to have books shipped and delivered by May, we need parents to send the money (exact amount) to school books. Teachers will send home the list of books with the price. They will let you know when is the deadline to send the money. I would like to remind you that students whose tuition is not up to date, or owe library items will have their Power School access suspended until the account is brought to date or the library books are returned.   Students will need to access teacher sites by going to the individual web address.   Please check library books for due date. You will find the due date on the back pocket.
